The EGBZ acting as a GCC Land bridge Terminal & designated by Saudi Authorities as an INLAND PORT is processing record levels of Cross Border Land Freight. Vehicles manifested to the EGBZ can travel along BONDED LAND FREIGHT CORRIDORS running between GCC Free Zones & the EGBZ at Dammam's King Fahad International Airport. On arrival Clearance formalities are completed within the EGBZ's temperature controlled facility by a dedicated team of in-house customs officers

REGIONAL MULTIMODEL CONNECTIVITY
Land Freight TRANSIT CORRIDORS are now operational from the EGBZ to Bahrain & Kuwait. These newly established corridors lend themselves to the seamless Movement of AF-LF-SF in Bond between various destinations in the Northern Gulf. Inbound KSA Cargo routed via the EGBZ can be partially cleared for the Saudi Market whilst remaining freight can be transported onwards to alternative markets.
EGBZ LAUNCHES BONDED THIRD PARTY LOGISTICAL SERVICES (B3PL )
The zone is now authorized by KSA customs to offer BONDED THIRD PARTY LOGISTICAL SERVICES With partial shipments being drawn down from Bonded Storage For clearance & next day KSA last mile delivery.
8,000 METER SQUARE of Warehouse space has been allocated to facilitate this service. The zone’s INFOR WMS will provide B3PL clients with real time cargo visibility via an online virtual warehouse portal. Offshore Shippers ( Non KSA Based ) can also utilize this service to supply KSA consignees from Bonded Buffer Stock held at the zone. Drawn down cargo will be cleared in the name of the final KSA end user.
